BorderCity RollerGirls

At BCRG we strive to be our BEST for each other, our community, and ourselves.

BorderCity RollerGirls (BCRG) is an all-female, full-contact, flat track roller derby league committed to the betterment of the physical and mental strength of its members through fostering the amateur sport of roller derby. Skaters are females aged eighteen or older who exhibit exceptional athleticism, leadership, and sportsmanlike conduct both on and off the track. The league donates a portion of its funds to various non-profit organizations and charities. BCRG follows the rules and a guideline set forth by the Women’s Flat Track Derby Association (WFTDA), and subscribes to its "by the skaters, for the skaters" ethic.

BorderCity RollerGirls contributes to charitable organizations financially as well as with donations of time and public appearances. The skaters of BCRG want to compete on a national and international level as a WFTDA recognized league.

Founded in 2012 by Rezza Wrecked-Her whose passion and drive for the sport compelled her to put together a derby team. She found a handful of dedicated and ambitious women and formed the BorderCity RollerGirls league. Since then it has exploded into a greatly recognized and well-established team. While still a young league, compared to the national and international derby community, BCRG is well on its way to becoming a major competitor in this newly revitalized sport. Seeking to be an apprentice member of the Woman's Flat Track Derby Association (WFTDA), BCRG is relentless with the desire to become a force to be reckoned with. Above all, we are a professional team that always strives for fair-play. We welcome everyone who wants to watch one of our bouts. People of all ages will enjoy seeing one of the only sports that is primarily played and ran by women. Those that remember the original derby of the 50's and 60's now have a chance to re-embrace and fall in love with the sport all over again.
